We are recruiting a temporary Life Model to work at Hertford Regional College to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at their state of art facilities in Ware.

About The Role
Hertford Regional College (HRC) is a vibrant and creative place to study, recently graded Outstanding (Grade 1) for their Art & Design provision. We are seeking reliable and professional Life Models with a diverse range of body shapes to support their wide range of drawing, painting and visual arts classes across FE and HE-level courses.
As a Life Model, you will work closely with specialist tutors to provide students with the opportunity to develop observational drawing skills from the human figure. Sessions may include short dynamic poses, longer sustained poses, clothed or unclothed modelling (depending on the class), and collaborative work with students during workshops and assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Pose for life drawing classes in a professional and consistent manner
- Hold a variety of poses, both short and extended, as directed by teaching staff
- Work collaboratively with tutors to support learning outcomes
- Maintain punctuality, reliability and professional boundaries at all times
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive studio environment
You will be employed as a Temporary Worker via HRG on assignment to Hertford Regional College.
The job role is required on an ad-hoc basis, with weekly classes held at the Ware Campus. You will be booked to work for 2 hours per session (with breaks).
The rate of pay is £17.02 including holiday pay.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Comfortable modelling unclothed in a professional academic setting
- Able to hold dynamic and static poses for varying lengths of time
- Reliable, punctual and committed to supporting arts education
- Respectful, confident and able to work with a diverse student cohort
- Experienced in life modelling (desirable) but not essential training can be provided
